Here i read a pretty negative comment to the Pripyat Complete mod:Do more people have an opinion on it? Is there really a save game corruption? I liked the SoC 'Complete' mod very much and i'm looking for a new mod for CoP.(I gave Misery a try but for me it is more annoying then fun. I feel constantly 'encouraged' to abuse game mechanics here. 90% of the mutants i killed while sitting on rocks.
Why every NPC apparently just shot his last bullet before i killed him? Also, i was never able to get to Pripyat with Misery, game crashed.). Save corruptions are indeed an issue with Complete, but it's not as bad as you may think. Think that Complete is one of the most popular mod for all 3 games, so many people played it which means more complaints. You're much more likely to finish the game without any problem than you might think.But like the comment said, Complete doesn't add that much to CoP. It's not a bad choice really, but is it worth risking save corruption for a few minor changes that in my opinion barely makes the experience different?If you really want to give Complete a try don't let the small probability of a save corruption bother you, but I agree with the comment you quoted: It does very little for CoP and if you really want to enhance your experience you should consider other mods.
Depends on what you're looking for really. You mentionned Complete and Misery in your post, and they are a good illustration of the variety of mods you could choose from: Complete is a minor improvement to the original game, Misery completely changes the game into something different.If you want to insist on Misery I know there's another mod compatible with Misery that makes it more fun and a bit more forgiving ( Can't remember the name, sorry. ).If you're rather looking for a small change to the vanilla game like in Complete you can have a look at the Arsenal or Shoker for a different (and better, but that's my opinion ) gunplay, or stuff like Atmosfear for the.well atmosphere of the game.With just that you'll get a game that still is CoP with a more opressive atmosphere and/or a better gunplay.You should have a look at the moddb page and do a bit of shopping. Many mods are compatible with each others, so you should be able to pick what you think you want and create your ideal CoP.

In the case of problems just copy it back. Run fovswitch.cmd. Use the mouse wheel to scroll through all available variants.
